DMCA Notice & Copyright Policy
IPTV Canada respects the intellectual property rights of others. This page explains our copyright policy, how rights holders can submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and Canadian copyright law, how we review complaints, and how to file a counter-notification.

Copyright Protection Policy
IPTV Canada (“we”, “us”) operates iptvv-ca.ca, an IPTV subscription service for customers in Canada. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and respect the Copyright Act (Canada), including its notice-and-notice provisions (sections 41.25–41.27). We do not knowingly permit copyright-infringing material on our service and we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to material when we receive a valid notice.
IPTV Canada does not produce, upload or host the television channels, films or series available through the service; content is delivered from third-party content providers and servers. Where we are notified that specific content infringes a third party’s rights, we will investigate and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to that content and notify the relevant provider.
How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner, or an agent authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe that content accessible through IPTV Canada infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing the following information (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
Your contact details
Your full legal name, the company you represent (if any), postal address, telephone number and a valid email address so we can reach you about the notice.
Identification of the copyrighted work
A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed — for example the title of the programme, film, channel or event and, if registered, the registration number. If several works are covered by one notice, a representative list is acceptable.
Location of the allegedly infringing material
Enough information for us to locate the material: channel name, programme title, date and time of broadcast, category, or any URL or screenshot from the service. The more precise the reference, the faster we can act.
Required legal statements and signature
(a) A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; (b) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf; and (c) your physical or electronic signature.
Our Review Process
Every notice is logged and reviewed by a member of our compliance team — not an automated filter.
We acknowledge receipt by email and check that the notice contains all required elements.
We identify the material and the content provider concerned and verify the claim.
Valid complaints are actioned within 24 hours: the material is removed or access is disabled, and the provider is notified.
We confirm the outcome to you in writing and keep a record of the notice and the action taken.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) a counter-notification must include:
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, where IPTV Canada is operated (or any judicial district in which IPTV Canada may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
On receipt of a valid counter-notification we forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant informs us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), IPTV Canada maintains and enforces a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of subscribers or content providers who are repeat infringers. We keep a record of valid notices received against each account or provider and may suspend or terminate service without refund where we determine that infringement is repeated or deliberate.
False Claims Warning
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages — including costs and legal fees — incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner or IPTV Canada.
